DAVID OSTRACH PHD, ALLIED FISHING GROUPS SCIENCE ADVISOR, SPEAKS AT THE JULY 14 CALIFORNIA STRIPED BASS ASSOCIATION MEETING. DAVID IS JOINED BY JAY SORENSEN, FOUNDER, AND JIM COX, CURRENT PRESIDENT, OF CALIFORNIA STRIPED BASS ASSOCIATION

David Ostrach PhD, Allied Fishing Groups, Science Advisor, speaks at the July 14 California Striped Bass Association meeting. David provided a brief summary of his 28 years of research studying striped bass in the San Francisco Bay estuary system followed by an explanation of how Allied Fishing Groups was trying and amend the language in Diane Feinstein's legislation that calls for the eradication of striped bass, black bass, three species of catfish, bluegill/sunfish and various other species found in the Delta. Doctor Ostrach then spoke about the upcoming hearing to change the size and take limits of LMB/SMB/and Stripers put forth again by The Coalition For Sustainable Delta/the water contractors and their allies. He further explained what was necessary for the CSBA and others to assist in stopping the regulation changes and in modifying Feinstein's bill.
